Warm, sunny weather continues in Belize

By Horace Palacio: Belizeans are waking up to a beautiful Saturday morning with sunny skies and a few clouds, according to the latest forecast from the Belize National Meteorological Service. This pleasant weather is expected to continue throughout the weekend.

“Moderate and relatively dry easterly airflow will continue to dominate our weather,” reports forecaster Shanea Young. Today, expect sunny skies with a few cloudy spells. Showers, if any, will remain isolated. Temperatures will be warm, reaching highs in the upper 80s to mid-90s Fahrenheit along the coast and inland.

Mariners can anticipate easterly winds of 10-20 knots with choppy seas and waves of 3-5 feet.

The outlook for Sunday and Sunday night calls for continued fair weather with only a slight chance of isolated showers.

With such lovely conditions, it’s the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities in the country.
