MoI receives S. Korean, Qatari envoys


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 15 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah discussed with South Korea Ambassador to Kuwait Chung Byungha a range of bilateral issues, including security cooperation.
During his meeting with Chung on Wednesday, Sheikh Thamer praised the deep-rooted friendly relationship between both countries, according to a statement from the Interior Ministry's Public Relations and Security Media Dept.
On his part, the South Korean diplomat spoke highly of Kuwait's role in maintaining peace and security across the region.
Separately, Sheikh Thamer received Qatar's newly-appointed Ambassador to Kuwait Ali Al Mahmoud, according to the statement.
The minister wished Ambassador Al Mahmoud success in his new post, lauding the exemplary relations which kept growing under the wise leadership of both countries.
The ambassador voiced joy for his presence in Kuwait and hoped to contribute to the enhancement of the bilateral ties between both sisterly countries. (end)
