Marvel Studios Teamed Up With Hyundai On Ads For The 2022 Tucson

Disney DIS is no stranger at synergy, and cross promotion wherever they can find it, even in car commercials. Earlier this year the brand has teamed up with Chevy to promote the 2022 Bolt EUV with characters from the Disney Parks, and in 2015 Disney partnered with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to bring the world of Star Wars into the advertisements for end-of-year sales.

Now the Disney-owned Marvel Studios has teamed up with Hyundai for ads featuring Marvel characters from Disney+ shows and the new 2022 Tuscon. The campaign, titled “Question Everything,” will feature characters from the Disney+ series’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, WandaVision and the animated series What If? Stars including Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff each star in their own commercial based on the series they are in.

The campaign will appear in multiple forms including a 60-second cross-Disney spot, a 30-second Marvel compilation, and 15 and 6-second ads on linear TV, streaming networks, digital and social networks. The ad campaign officially kicked off today, but Marvel fans got a sneak peek on the movie studio’s social channels last week. To tie in with the debut of Loki on Disney+, Marvel showed the Loki Hyundai spot, which drew 2M views in just 24 hours.

Even with car sales hitting a slump due to the high demand and low inventory of new cars, Disney and Hyundai are hoping that Marvel fans will remember these ads when they are ready to buy a new car and go with the model that was driven by the new Captain America or the God of Mischief.
