Bishkek, May 2, 2018. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov received chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Tigran Sargsyan, the Kyrgyz President's press service reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the agenda of the forthcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, as well as topical issues of the further development of the integration association.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov said that the integration of the country in the EEC was and remains a priority in the foreign economic policy of Kyrgyzstan.
"We attach great importance to this association and are aimed at further development of productive and fruitful cooperation with the countries of the Union," the head of state said.
Chairman of the Board of the EEC Tigran Sargsyan said that the active position of the President of Kyrgyzstan on the issues of Eurasian integration helps in the promotion and deepening of the integration project.
